Chefs of Tomorrow is a benefit for seven local youth culinary art programs. This unique event partners culinary students with local chefs for an entertaining evening fired up with a tasty appetizers competition, amazing travel opportunities in the live and silent auctions, and the opportunity to ensure that culinary programs survive and thrive in local schools.

Each school is partnered up with an executive chef and together they created their recipe for success – preparing at least two appetizers incorporating the featured ingredients.  There is a Judges’ Choice award and a People’s Choice award.  Past judges have included Steve Garner of the Good Food Hour on KSRO Radio; Duskie Estes owner and chef of zazu kitchen + farm; Executive Chef Richard Whipple of Heritage House Resort; and Joss of Froggy 92.9’s Rob and Joss in the Morning.

Participating schools include Cloverdale High School, Healdsburg High School, El Molino High School, Piner High School,  Sonoma Valley High School, Windsor High School, and Casa Grande High School.

Participating local chefs include Chef Marie Storum, Chef Devin Kellogg, Chef Francesco Torre, Chef Larry Willis,  Chef Jennifer Venezio, Chef Shane McAnelly, and Chef Gabe Nahas.

Following the appetizer reception, guests enjoy a delicious dinner. The evening wrapps up with a silent and live auction featuring travel excursions, day trips, overnight stays, dinners, special bottlings of wine and more.
