Sonoma County Hospitality Association

Who We Are

SCHA membership includes all guest-facing hospitality and tourism businesses, from lodging and dining, to tasting rooms, attractions and transportation companies. We also welcome Associate Members from industries and organizations supporting hospitality and tourism.  We are an important piece of the Sonoma County economy: Our businesses employ almost 20,000 local residents, or ten percent of the workforce. Additionally, ninety percent of our businesses are locally owned and operated, resulting in more visitor dollars staying in Sonoma County, supporting our infrastructure.

The mission of the Sonoma County Hospitality Association is to represent the interests of the hospitality and tourism industries through advocacy, education, and partnerships within the community. We focus on initiatives that make it easier to thrive in the hospitality and tourism industry and initiate a vibrant exchange of ideas to ensure tourism’s positive impact within Sonoma County.

Advocate. Use your voice!

We are the unified voice of Sonoma County hospitality and tourism, representing our interests and concerns with local government officials, and identifying issues of importance in the areas of workforce and affordable housing, taxes, fair competition, and development.

Educate. Learn new tools.

Throughout the year, SCHA regularly hosts seminars to offer useful tools for your success, as well as valuable access to forums featuring qualified experts and suppliers who understand our industry.

Networking

Our membership mixers offer opportunities to make connections, collaborate, and find beneficial partnerships. We host several events each year at venues throughout the county, at no or very slight cost to members.
